Recently our Football teams took a day off practice to provide some community service and help clean up around the school and other locations around town.
Thanks, team!

Always great to see our students at the FDL Co Fair!
We saw lots of ribbons and awards earned--we'll share an update from the FFA Page when there is one!
Shout out to the many staff we also saw there supporting our students!

Shout out to the Class of 2023, who donated funds for these sweet door decals!
Thank you, Class of 2023!

Congratulations to our latest inductees into the CHS Athletic Hall of Fame...Coach Mark Peterson and Gary Goebel (1996 graduate)!

Earlier this year, Mrs. Trewin's Government classes welcomed US Senator Ron Johnson to Campbellsport. Senator Johnson spoke briefly and then fielded question from our students.
Great questions by our students! Thanks to Senator Johnson for visiting!

Check out Mrs. Ellenbecker's class celebrating recently after completing the Spanish Placement test, which helps place students in the appropriate college level Spanish class!
They were even studying on the bus!
Looks like a blast!

Check out Mrs. Ellenbecker's Spanish 3, 4, 5, and 6 students with self portraits of their pen pals. They received letters from Mrs. Ellenbecker's daughter Megan's 3rd grade bilingual classroom at Anne Sullivan Elementary School in Green Bay. All her students are new to the country or Spanish is their primary language. They were paired with CHS students and they exchanged letters in Spanish asking and answering questions about culture differences, school, hobbies, movies, etc. CHS students made a short video showing them our school too.
Neat lesson, Mrs. E!

Track athletes make their "walk to state" on our last day of school. Lydia Toshner, Aubree Koenings, Caleb Smith, Josh Dontchenko, and Evan Wilcox will be competing at the State Track & Field Meet on Friday and Saturday.

Tradition on the last day for Seniors:
Senior Selfie Day!!!

Recently the 7th grade students in science used a simulation to learn how prevailing winds and ocean currents affect climates of the world.

Check out Mr. Boss's class gathering data to show how an actual experiment could be used to calculate common statistical comparisons for measures of central tendency and some advanced statistical analysis like histograms and box and whisker plots.
Some groups also calculated standard deviation. The experiment involved each member of the group tossing pennies toward a target and measuring their distance from the intended target.

🎉 We are thrilled to share this incredible team photo of our Middle School Track athletes! 🎉
🙌 We want to express our deepest gratitude to our amazing coaches, Coach Wright, Coach Golbach, and Coach Poquette, for their unwavering dedication and guidance throughout the season. Your expertise and support have been invaluable to our team's success. Thank you for going above and beyond!
💪 Our talented athletes have shown us what true determination and hard work can achieve. We are immensely impressed by the effort and commitment they demonstrated at every practice and competition. Each and every one of you should be proud of your accomplishments this season! 🎖️
☀️ We were also fortunate to have some of the best weather conditions this season. The sun shining down on our practices and meets created the perfect environment for our athletes to excel and showcase their skills. It truly made the season even more enjoyable and memorable! ☀️
😔 However, we must acknowledge the disappointment we faced when we had to cancel two meets due to storms. Mother Nature had her own plans, but the safety of our athletes always comes first. Despite the setback, we persevered and continued to train hard, turning adversity into motivation.
👏 Let's take a moment to celebrate the teamwork, camaraderie, and incredible achievements of our Middle School Track Team! We couldn't be prouder of each and every one of you. Your dedication and sportsmanship have set a shining example for future generations of athletes to follow. 🌟
🙏 Thank you once again to everyone involved - athletes, coaches, parents, and supporters - for making this season an unforgettable one! Let's cherish these memories and continue to strive for greatness together. Go team! 🏆

We had our last Spring concert of the year last night for the middle school. Congratulations to both our Middle School Band and Choir groups on two amazing concerts.

Exciting news from our 8th-grade class! Our students recently visited the Museum of Science and Industry, and had an absolute blast! From exploring hands-on exhibits to learning about cutting-edge technology, this field trip was an educational and fun-filled adventure. The students got to see amazing displays, interactive exhibits, and even got a chance to conduct some of their own experiments! We are thrilled to have provided our students with such a unique and valuable learning experience, and we can't wait to see how this trip will inspire and shape their futures. #MuseumOfScienceAndIndustry #FieldTripAdventures #Education #STEM

After finishing the book called, "Fenway and Hattie," 6th graders in Mrs. Dirmeier's class made squirrel feeders.

Students in Mrs. White's Honors Biology class recently completed a simulation where they learned about using anti-clotting agents to determine blood type after studying the potential genotypes and alleles that make up the blood.
In the end, students were able to use scientific evidence to support a claim to determine lineage and learned a little bit more about their blood.

Mrs. Trewin had the pleasure of attending the Student Government day at the Fond du Lac city county government building with some select juniors from her American Government & Economics class.
The attendees were able to take place in a mock vote, heard from several guest speakers of all different departments of county government, toured the dispatch center, learned about the K-9 unit, heard from a judge, sat in on a hearing, and much more.
All around it was a great day and wonderful learning experience for these students!
