
Students in 8th Grade Exploring Business are wrapping up the Business Ownership & Entrepreneurship unit by writing business plans for their own unique business ideas. Some of the businesses created by these students include a gluten-free bakery, a sporting goods store, clothing boutique, hunting lodge, and a coffee shop!




Students in Spanish class are engaging in a variety of collaborative activities to support the development of interpersonal communication skills in the target language. We are writing, drawing, asking and answering questions, and completing other cooperative learning opportunities!



Seventh graders presented their Informative Imaginary Animal Presentations in speech class this week.




Students in Mrs. Writt’s geography class showed excellent group work skills while applying their new knowledge of the “GRAPES” of world civilizations to solve a mystery puzzle.




In 7th grade science, we're studying stream tables to learn how to use models in order to figure out how a channel was formed on Mars.




Today our FFA members stopped by the World Dairy Expo! They put their learning to the test by competing in the Dairy Cattle Judging, Dairy Products Judging, and Forage Judging contests. After the contests, members explored the trade show and networked with business professionals! Finally, taking some time to watch the international dairy cattle show exhibiting animals from across the world!




Our math classrooms have been Building a Thinking Classroom with collaborative groups. Check out these photos from 6th and 7th grade!





Thank you for all the donations this past week! Our students, staff and community brought in 1,548 non-perishable items and gently used clothes! Which was just enough to pie all three principals on Friday!

Our 6th graders in STEM class have been working together to build a roller coaster.
Today students tested their project as they send one or more marbles down the roller coaster track. Not only are they putting Isaac Newtons three laws of motion into action but learning to work as a team, problem solve, expand creative thinking and engineering skills.



Our volleyball teams battled hard last night! The next home game is our boys soccer on Thursday against Wayland Academy. Go Cougars!



Non-perishable food and clothing donations can be dropped of at the main office (Door A) in the middle-high school.


Students are enjoying the new Zen Den in the middle school.


Today our FFA members brought over the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th graders to teach them about agriculture! Our FFA members taught about tractors, plants, dairy, livestock, Wisconsin products, sun protection, apples, crops, and feed!

The advanced plant science is learning about agronomy! Today these students dissected corn, soybean, and alfalfa plants to learn about the differences and similarities between broadleaf crops and grass leaf crops!



On Saturday, the CMS Girls Cross Country Team won the KJG Ripon invite, and won four individual medals! This is a tough meet with 12 teams and over 100 runners. The first five runners score, but it takes a team for a victory. Way to go Cougars!!


We loved having our Middle School students and staff back in the building! We had a great first week!




Recently our Football teams took a day off practice to provide some community service and help clean up around the school and other locations around town.
