For the second year in a row, the CMS Student Council partnered with Operation Christmas Angel to support our brave Armed Forces members and their families. As a gesture of gratitude, our students organized a toy drive. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families and community members who generously contributed, helping make this holiday season truly special.

Mr. Hughes' 8th-grade STEM class has been hard at work learning how to use various tools and machines to build their very own penny hockey boards! 🛠️💡 Today, the students finally got to put their creations to the test by playing with their peers, showcasing their hard work and teamwork! 🏒
Keep up the great work, future engineers!

CHS Student council leaders and advisors spent the day at Marquette University as part of a fall leadership tour. Students learned a lot about how to build and grow our student council.

Our Manufacturing students have been working on some incredible precision machining and CNC plasma projects ! From finely detailed parts to custom plasma-cut designs, these hands-on creations highlight their dedication, skills, and the power of modern manufacturing technology.

Agriscience students were able to complete the Farm to Table cycle this week! After growing and raising meat birds for 9 weeks, learning about the processing of the chickens, and discovering how to separate a whole chicken into pieces, students spent their day cooking in the food lab! They finally got to enjoy their chicken together- it was delicious!

Last week the 8th grade choir visited CES and the 7th grade choir visited EES to sing and dance for the students. They played a singing game with the elementary students and shared with them some reasons they might want to be in choir some day.

8th graders are heating things up in science class! 🔥 They’ve been exploring thermal energy and different types of heat transfer through hands-on labs and a fun game called *Energy Three in a Row,* which helped them dive deeper into understanding energy transfer between objects. To cap it all off, we had an amazing behind-the-scenes field trip to learn about the school’s heating system! A big thank you to Matt Seiser and Jim Beck for giving us an insider’s tour—our students loved learning how it all works to keep us warm! 🏫 #ScienceInAction #ThermalEnergy #LearningIsCool

Happy Veterans Day from the Campbellsport School District. Today, we remember and honor all who have served or are actively serving.
Thank you, Veterans!

Today some of our sixth-grade girls had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a Women in STEM Conference at CESA 6 in Oshkosh. The conference allowed the students to put their skills to the test while collaborating with other area schools and with several engineers from Plexus. They engaged in hands-on activities, such as testing how far their rockets could go, building tin-foil boats, and attempting to create the tallest marshmallow structure possible!
These experiences are invaluable in encouraging our students to explore careers in STEM fields!

Our Outdoor Survival class had an incredible hands-on experience building shelters in the school forest! Students learned valuable wilderness survival skills, working together to create safe, sturdy shelters using natural materials.

We are excited to share that CHS has been named a Blue Star School for achievement on the W!se Financial Literacy Certification test for the 2023-24 school year. At the end of each Personal Finance class, students take the W!se fin lit certification test where they demonstrate their knowledge in the areas of money management, financial planning, banks/banking, credit, insurance, and investing. For a school to receive this honor, it must receive a passing rate of 80%!

The Boys' XC Team finished 7th at the State Meet. It was the highest team finish since 1975! Logan, Brody, Garrett, and Sawyer all had course PR's. Gavin and Caleb broke 18 minutes in their first State Meet. Garrett and Trent had career best times. Sawyer had a season best time. Everyone gave it their best effort and it was an outstanding season! Way to go Cougars!
