Exciting News Just In! We are happy to share that the WIAA approved a waiver request from Campbellsport High School to grant Josh Onwunili eligibility to compete in the 2024 Track & Field Tournament Series beginning with the regional competitions on Monday, May 20th. The CSD worked cooperatively with the WIAA and family through the process to provide the necessary information to support an extenuating circumstances waiver request. We are pleased with this decision. We look forward to cheering on the team as they compete in Regionals on Monday!

Campbellsport High School Forensics Team Competes at State Tournament in Madison. The State Forensics competition was held on April 19 and 20th, and the Campbellsport school's team has made us proud with their remarkable performances. The team came home with an impressive collection of medals, including a Gold Critics Choice medal, two All-State medals, and two bronze medals. Kaitlyn Vant Hoff, one of our many talented participants, won the bronze medal for her exceptional performance. She showcased her incredible public speaking skills and impressed the judges with a Special Occasion speech on Weighted Grades. Vant Hoff's achievement is a testament to her hard work and dedication to the art of forensics. Isabelle Sperfslage commanded her competition room’s attention with her prose performance; the audience was impressed with her dramatic performance as she created characters with voices and mannerisms that made them feel like the characters were in the room. Bringing the story to life, Sperfslage reminded the audience of the duality of the world; humanity is a tapestry of light and shadow. She has worked at the all-star level throughout the season. Cali Kneevers and Evie Glover were both awarded All-State medals for their outstanding play-acting performance in the competition. These two phenomenal students performed a humorous One-Act. Throughout the season they learned how to tap into the comedic delivery and the joy of making the room laugh. However, it was Genevieve Grahl who won her judge’s heart with her impeccable prose performance. She earned a perfect score and the Gold Critics Choice medal. The audience was left speechless as she delivered a flawless performance, showcasing her remarkable talents and skills. The team’s achievements are a testament to their hard work and dedication to the art of forensics. They have shown that with determination and practice, anything is possible. We congratulate the team for their remarkable accomplishments. Overall, the State Forensics competition was a great success for our school's team. We would like to extend our congratulations to all the team members for their remarkable performances. They have made us proud, and we look forward to seeing what they achieve in the future.
