On Monday, March 13, the Campbellsport High School Forensics team traveled to Neenah High School for their WISDAA District Competition. Campbellsport had nine students in six entries: Mykala Fabry, Mercedes Herrmann, Danielle Wettstein, and Noah Carpenter (Group Interpretation), Natalie Coon (Prose), Aydrienne Jaeger (Humorous Solo), Noah Vandergrinten (Impromptu), Katie Waddle (Farrago), and Kaitlyn Ziehr (Serious Solo). Three different judges evaluated them in three different rounds. Competitors were required to earn at least 21 out of 25 points in two of three rounds in order to advance from District to State.
The team is very proud to announce that four of their members earned the opportunity to compete at the State Competition in Madison: Natalie Coon (Prose), Aydrienne Jaeger (Humorous Solo), Noah Vandergrinten (Impromptu), and Katie Waddle (Farrago)
The entire Forensics team will compete next at their Conference meet at Mayville High School on Monday, March 27. Their coaches are Michelle Rockelman and Stacy Zocher.
